Available tradition-informed lenses include Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and My own or another tradition, as well as an open setting with no specific tradition. These are invitations, not doctrine. Quiet Lantern does not speak for a tradition or claim doctrinal authority; you remain the best judge of what fits your own practice and community. What happens to what I share?

Your concern and selected mode, tradition, intention, and tone are sent to the AI service to generate a response. An unsaved moment stays in the current page state and is not saved unless you choose “Save privately.” AI-service handling is outside this app’s control, so Quiet Lantern does not promise absolute security or confidentiality. Can I save, revisit, or delete a prayer?

Accepted Answer

If you are signed in, you can explicitly save a moment with “Save privately.” A saved record includes its title, mode, concern, response, and created and updated timestamps, and is scoped to your account in this app. You can revisit it, rename it, delete one record, or delete all saved records for your account. Is Quiet Lantern a spiritual adviser or therapist?

No. Quiet Lantern is not human or clergy, does not speak with doctrinal authority, and is not emergency, medical, mental-health, or professional care.
