A clear account of the quiet parts

Privacy at Quiet Lantern

Quiet Lantern is designed to keep prayer and reflection intentional: share only what you choose, save only what you choose, and know what this app can—and cannot—control.

What a prayer session sends

When you offer a concern, Quiet Lantern processes the concern together with your selected mode, tradition, intention, and tone. Those fields are sent to the AI service to generate the response you see.

What happens to an unsaved moment

Quiet Lantern holds an unsaved concern and response in the current page state so you can read and decide what to do next. The app does not save the current session unless you choose Save privately. Begin again clears the concern and response from that in-page moment.

What a saved record contains

A saved record contains the title, mode, concern, generated response, and created and updated timestamps. It is associated with your signed-in account so the saved-prayer routes can scope access to that account.

Deletion controls

From Saved Prayers, you can rename a record, delete one record, or confirm Delete all to remove all saved records held for your Quiet Lantern account. These controls describe what this app removes; they do not claim to remove copies held by the AI service, logs, backups, or authentication systems.

Remaining limitations

The surrounding app framework may process page-load analytics and a visitor identifier. Authentication may also retain account and session metadata. Quiet Lantern currently has no in-product account-deletion control unless an installed authentication feature exposes one. AI-service handling is outside this app’s control, so this page does not make absolute security, confidentiality, legal, or deletion claims.

This explanation describes the current Quiet Lantern app behavior, not a promise about systems outside the app. If you have a question about the product, email quiet-lantern@polsia.app.
